*There are over 147 million orphaned children in the world today.

*Nearly 11 million children die each year before they reach their 5th birthday.

*Over 14 million children over the age of 15 have lost one or both parents due to AIDS.

*11 million children starve to death each year or die due to preventable, treatable illnesses.

*8.5 million children work as child slaves, prostitutes or in horrific conditions.

*2.3 million children world wide are living with HIV.

Total: 182.8 million needy children around the world.

Fact: There are 2.1 billion professed Christians.

If 5% of those 2.1 billion professed Christians stood up and took care for one of the 182.8 billion children, there would be no more.
